The Coalition of Graduate Employees (CGE) is a group of graduate assistants (GAs, TAs, and RAs) who are working towards the goal of a graduate employee union at Penn State. We represent graduate programs from across University Park; we have different jobs and various concerns; we belong to a variety of student and professional organizations. We share a single aim: to create an independent union that will advocate for a wide variety of graduate student issues and work in equal partnership with Penn State to ensure that all graduate employees are treated with fairness, respect, and dignity as education professionals.
